Off Road Tire Technician- Job Vacancy in Calgary, Alberta, Canada
Essential Responsibilities:
- The candidate must have experience changing off-road haul truck tires
- An understanding of the operation of a loader with a tire manipulator is required
- Checking the tire air pressure daily and performing visual tire audits on a regular basis
- Maintaining a record of tire changes
- Maintaining an accurate inventory of tires
- Communicate effectively and professionally with other team members
- Be a leader of both safety and production for the team by ensuring compliance with all company, client, and legislated safety policies and procedures
Qualifications:
- Minimum one year of experience in a similar or related field
- Must have and maintain a valid Class 5 driver’s license and a clean driver’s abstract
- Must successfully complete pre-access drug and alcohol testing
- It is an asset to have TIA training
Work Conditions:
- Shift based role, 14/14 or 14/7 rotation, working 12 hours per day
- Camp Provided and travel allowance provided for those that qualify
- Work will be primarily outdoors in various weather conditions
