Inventory Coordinator- Job Vacancy in Vancouver, British Columbia – Canada

Duties and Core Responsibilities :

  • Setting minimum and maximum levels for Main Stock Inventory
  • Excess stock analysis, process manufacturer returns with an aim to limit excess inventory, increase cash flow and increase inventory turns.
  • Accurately creating several new part or item numbers within our system.
  • Updating items pricing, product descriptions, vendor information etc. as required in our current systems.
  • May require working on reports like warehouse reports, metrics or any other ad-hoc reports.
  • Data Loads – New Price Lists, run report to set new minimum and maximum levels within branches. Creating and formatting files for data loads into Global Edge.
  • Merging duplicate part numbers and regular clean up to make the system easier for customers to navigate when looking up items online.
  • Process Locally purchased parts by technicians. Creating PO’s, Receiving parts onto Service Orders and/or into Truck Inventory.
  • Any other duties assigned.

What you bring:

  • Minimum high school graduation required
  • Minimum of 2-3 related years’ experience working in related field
  • Working knowledge of parts is an asset
  • Must have experience with a current ERP system
