The Director – SAP Business System will be responsible for the implementation of the ERP system in the major projects area. He/she will manage the necessary team including contractors/consultants for the implementation, operation and support of the platform. The Director will also be responsible for an organic migration of Pomerleau operations on existing platforms to SAP in the second phase.

 

• Practical deployment planning for phases maximizing key operations.

• Develop estimates of project costs, timelines, schedules and manpower requirements.

• Manage project execution using project management standards and best practices.

• Manage project implementation teams to ensure full involvement and cooperation for project success. Communicate a clear vision of the project objectives and motivate the team to achieve them.

• Develop and apply techniques to improve productivity and efficiency, reduce risk, resolve issues to achieve significant cost savings, and ensure deliverables are created on time and on budget.

• Work closely with technology and business related teams.

• Implement a robust tracking system, including necessary communication at the operational, tactical and strategic levels.

• Ensure the platform supports industry best practices and functional processes and methodologies.

• Manage external vendors to maximize value and define sustainable plan for internal vs. external value center balance.

• Ensure effective integration with other ancillary platforms used for construction project delivery.

Possédez-vous ces qualifications et habiletés?

• 10+ years of experience working with SAP with a proven track record of implementation.

• Expert level knowledge of SAP functionality, including S4/Hana and Fiori.

• Experience with SAP integrations to other ancillary platforms.

• 5+ years of experience managing teams.

• Fundamental understanding of network and desktop infrastructure and database concepts.

• Excellent customer service skills and ability to write and articulate ideas; plan and prioritize work.

• Ability to relate effectively to other departments.

• Strong interpersonal skills to maintain effective working relationships with others.

• PMP certification or similar.

• Understanding of project and construction management systems.

• Strong understanding of project management fundamentals.

• Exceptional leadership, organizational and time management skills.
