Application Support Analyst – Job Vacancy in Toronto, Ontario – Canada

Specific Accountabilities:

  • Provide ongoing assistance and support to personnel, as required to support Execution Delegates (ED) and Process Owners (PO) and other team members.  Support in the updating or drafting of new processes as required.  Coordinates efforts across LOBs related to process and change management considerations for CIP processes.
  • Gather and compile process and compliance metrics.  Establish an overall CIP scorecard to provide a clear indication of the health and effectiveness of the CIP processes.  Provide a subset of these metrics to the Reliability Standards Scorecard.  Follow up and investigate any metrics that are not passing and recommend actions to be taken to improve results.  Work collaboratively with LOBs to improve results.
  • Provide information and deliver training and other communications to internal stakeholders, corporate and operations staff to assist in their understanding of security compliance processes.
  • Maintain NERC CIP Process document libraries/websites/etc. ensuring effective document management techniques are used.
  • In conjunction with department and other Subject Matter Expert (SME) co-workers, support the gathering of evidence required to maintain compliance with NERC.
  • Research and review legislative, regulatory and NERC notices, bulletins, rules and regulations.
  • Collaborate with Reliability Standards Readiness and Strategy to provide direction to CIP GDs/POs.  Support Reliability Compliance Assurance’s evidence audit.
  • Represent department on company project teams as assigned.  Liaise with other LOBs and personnel regarding compliance policy issues.

Selection Criteria:

  • Education:  University degree or related studies, or equivalent experience.
  • Work Experience:  Minimum 2-5 years’ experience is considered necessary.
