Timekeeper- Job Vacancy in Katy/Houston, Texas, United States of America (USA)
Responsibilities
- Maintains a safe, secure and healthy environment by adhering to Company/Customer safety standards and practices and to legal regulations, alerting others regarding potential hazards or concern.
- Verify attendance, hours worked, pay adjustments, post information onto designated records.
- Handles and fields incoming telephone calls as necessary.
- Performs timekeeping duties for assigned field personnel.
- Controls invoicing, contract letters, return confirmations, and memorandums by distributing to appropriate management.
- Responsible for compiling, validating, and entering labor, per diem, mileage, and equipment into systems for payroll and billing.
- Reconciles payroll, billing, and client system data to ensure accuracy and expedite payment.
- Aid employees, be the point of contact between employees and other departments.
Qualifications
- Five years of experience in construction, accounting, timekeeping or related field.
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Must have advanced knowledge of Microsoft applications (Word, Access, Excel).
- Must have excellent communication and writing skills.
- Strong organizational skills and a high level of detail orientation are required to maintain and submit all necessary documentation and meet deadlines and requirements
- Ability to work independently or in a team environment, with strong interpersonal skills.
- Ability to act with the required discretion when handling confidential information.
- Flexibility regarding the schedule and the ability to mobilize to the site when required.
- Ability to establish and maintain effective stakeholder relationships.
- Basic skills using Microsoft Office Suite.
