Technical Records Support Analyst – Job Vacancy in Chatham-Kent, Ontario, Canada
What You’ll Do Here:
- Pre-process of documents for further analysis or imaging
- Review, analyze and sort records based on specific research criteria
- Enter descriptive and other metadata before storing/archiving electronic records
- Compare data and information discovered in the records to existing content in the corporate mapping system (GIS)
- Maintain records research tracking of work completed
- Retrieve physical records from on site storage and complete requests for retrieval from off site locations
- Implement quality control procedures to ensure integrity of documents, electronic images, and records metadata
- Identify improvements in processes, systems, technology and procedures
What You Bring to the Team:
- Experience using computer systems and processes to administrate data, records and information
- Direct experience using computer systems and processes to manage records relating to natural gas assets considered an asset
- Must be able to read and interpret engineering drawings, project documents, construction as-builts and technical records
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Ability to work in a process based environment with high work volumes and transactions
- Proven ability to plan, organize and execute work tasks independently
- Experience drafting, mapping and data collection methodology in the natural gas industry an asset
- Excellent computer skills including working knowledge of MS Office Suite, Bentley ProjectWise, Bentley Navigator LinkFixer, TreeSize, Adobe, Microstation, G/NetViewer, SAP etc.
