Technical Records Support Analyst – Job Vacancy in Chatham-Kent, Ontario, Canada

What You’ll Do Here: 

  • Pre-process of documents for further analysis or imaging
  • Review, analyze and sort records based on specific research criteria
  • Enter descriptive and other metadata before storing/archiving electronic records
  • Compare data and information discovered in the records to existing content in the corporate mapping system (GIS)
  • Maintain records research tracking of work completed
  • Retrieve physical records from on site storage and complete requests for retrieval from off site locations
  • Implement quality control procedures to ensure integrity of documents, electronic images, and records metadata
  • Identify improvements in processes, systems, technology and procedures

What You Bring to the Team: 

  • Experience using computer systems and processes to administrate data, records and information
  • Direct experience using computer systems and processes to manage records relating to natural gas assets considered an asset
  • Must be able to read and interpret engineering drawings, project documents, construction as-builts and technical records
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Ability to work in a process based environment with high work volumes and transactions
  • Proven ability to plan, organize and execute work tasks independently
  • Experience drafting, mapping and data collection methodology in the natural gas industry an asset
  • Excellent computer skills including working knowledge of MS Office Suite, Bentley ProjectWise, Bentley Navigator LinkFixer, TreeSize, Adobe, Microstation, G/NetViewer, SAP etc.
