Systems Configuration Specialist- Job Vacancy in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada

The roles and responsibilities:

  • Responsible for remotely configuring the network settings, encoder settings, retention settings and more on all our IP cameras and DVRs.
  • Providing configuration recommendations to customers to best serve their system/solution needs.
  • Working with customers to rectify retention issues by evaluating high bitrate IP devices.
  • Document all system configuration and changes.
  • Collaborate with Network Engineers to resolve any health issues.Requirements
  • Skilled in configuring CCTV, IP video solutions or other related hardware
  • Hands-on experience in the installation, maintenance, testing, configuring and integration of CCTV systems and devices
  • Good understanding of CCTV system operations and designBonus skills!
  • CompTIA A+ and Network+ Certifications
