Project Manager/Estimator (Civil)- Job Vacancy in Merritt, British Columbia, Canada
You as a Project Manager/Estimator will be:
- Set up and maintenance of the project administration, costing, scheduling, and quality, safety and loss control program.
- Execution, project planning, and resource utilization
- Analyze Plans, specifications and proposals to prepare bid estimates
- Prepare Quantity Take Offs and Bonding Requests
- Attend Site Visits and Pre Bid Meetings
- Provide leadership to promote maximum productivity.
- Working with multiple Superintendents in your respective roles.
- Maintain accountability for field costs and forecast costs to complete; and implement cost control procedures within the Project Execution Plan.
- Ensure jobsite procedures and controls are implemented by all personnel.
Is this the right role for you?
- 5 years+ of experience working as a Project Manager or Estimator in general civil construction
- 7+ years experience in heavy civil earthworks, road building and underground utilities is required
- Experience with structural piling or concrete work is an asset
- Capable of travelling between multiple sites.
