Project Administrator – Job Vacancy in Terrace,British Columbia,Canada

How will you contribute to the team?

 

The Site Administrator will be responsible for site administration that includes the following:

  • Coordination of site safety indoctrination including client protocols, gate passes and Covid-19 documentation management.
  • In collaboration with the various discipline superintendents and package engineers, the scheduling of vendor representatives and 3rd party QA efforts, shop visits etc.
  • Fleet management (Team vehicles).
  • Assistance with site lodging and accommodations for team.
  • Assistance with travel arrangements for the team for turnarounds and visitors as well as 3rd party visitors.
  • General administrative support (must have a working knowledge of MS office suite).
  • IT Coordination for services in site office and trailers including connection to client systems and/or independent 3rd party provider(s) as well as home office support for IT equipment including printers/plotters and mobilization/demobilization of equipment to and from home office.
  • Interface with SLI accounting for expense reports and assistance with personnel timesheets.
  • Office administration including office supplies, cleaning, and maintenance of offices and Coordination with SLI Human Resources.
  • Coordination with client administrative assistant to ensure client office administration policies and procedures are integrated with SNC-Lavalin’s for seamless day to day operations.
  • Assistance to contracts administration with respect to collection, filing, distribution, approval and return of contractor documentation including daily timesheets and reports.
  • Support, development, and issue of weekly and monthly client internal reports.
  • Additional administrative tasks as required.

 

What will you contribute?

  • Certificate in Business Administration or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in an administrative role preferably in a confidential environment.
  • Proficiency with Computer Programs (Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, Power Point, etc.).
  • Strong interpersonal and communication (written and oral) skills.
  • A self-starter with the ability to work in a team environment and independently.
  • Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to deal with competing priorities and manage time appropriately.
  • An equivalent combination of education and experience may also be considered.
  • Valid Canadian Driver’s license.
