GIS Data Technician- Job Vacancy in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada
What YOU Will Do
Reporting to the APEX Innovation Manager, you will be responsible for the integration, maintenance, quality, and display of spatial data to support strategic decision-making.
Responsibilities :
- Produce maps and applications
- Plan the content, format and graphic design of maps and compile the necessary data
- Assist in the development and maintenance of GIS data resources
- Train staff
- Write documentation
- Carry out quality control of data
- Checking final compositions
- Maintain databases
What YOU Will Bring
DEC in geomatics, geography, or a related field
In-depth knowledge of the ESRI ecosystem (ArcGIS Desktop/Server/Enterprise, Field Maps, Survey123, ArcGIS Hub, ArcGIS Notebook, ArcGIS Dashboard, ArcGIS Hub, Workforce)
Knowledge of the Safe Software platform (FME Workbench and Server)
Knowledge of databases (SQL Server, Oracle, Postgresql, or MySQL)
