Expert Engineer – Wood and Biomass Industry – Job Vacancy in Toronto – Ontario – Canada

You will work at one of BBA’s offices in British Columbia, Alberta, Ontario, Newfoundland and Labrador or Québec City. Your role as expert engineer will be to help develop visionary projects in the wood and biomass industry.
More specifically, in joining our team, you will be asked to:
• Manage multidisciplinary project teams.
• Mentor engineers and technicians.
• Coordinate client relationships
• Publish and present technical study reports.
• Select technology.
• Search mechanical equipment.
• Work with an experienced team of engineers, designers and support staff. 

Work schedule : 37.5

• Recognized as an expert in process engineering or mechanical engineering
• Business acumen
• Proactive and client-oriented
• Self-reliant and easily adaptable to change
• Creative and innovative in finding solutions
• Passionate about and aptitude for mentoring, training and sharing experiences with other engineers
• Ability to make quality decisions
• Enthusiastic about and aptitudes for business development

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering
• At least 20 years of relevant experience in the wood industry
• Consulting experience
• Plant design experience
• Experience in operations, operational safety or training
• Member of a professional engineering association
• Sound knowledge of statistics and effective analytical skills
• Interest in the environment
• Excellent spoken and written communication
