Buyer- Job Vacancy in St-Georges, Quebec, Canada
Under the supervision of the Operations Manager, Procurement, the candidate is primarily responsible for purchasing according to the needs of the offices and construction sites.
- Receive purchase requests from superintendents and project managers;
- Make purchases of construction materials and warehouse consumables;
- Place purchase orders;
- Research innovative products and new suppliers in all Canadian provinces;
- Follow up on backordered products, reconcile delivery orders with purchase orders and approve invoices;
- Request quotes from suppliers;
- Arrange for occasional transportation of materials;
- Plan product consolidations for annual agreements.
